Corinne Breen loves patterns and designs. she is an Instructional Designer at the Marine Institute, where she’s built a career teaching, designing and developing online courses and training students both here in Newfoundland and at workshops around the world.
Corinne's are the hands behind Kitty Witty.
She makes jewelry - rings, earrings and pendants - with wires and stones and a knack for creating beauty out of chaos. some of her pieces show inspiration from plants - the rose-shaped rings and peas in a pod pendants, while others resemble whimsical seasonal treats. Corinne ensures that her jewelry is nickel and lead-free, making it wearable to virtually anyone. and, her work is available at affordable prices.
For Corinne, the handmade touch brings something extra thoughtful. each piece tells a story. even the name ‘Kitty Witty’ has a story that goes back to her family. her mother’s maiden name is Kathleen Whitty and her father would tease her by calling her ‘Kitty Witty’, much to her chagrin. Corinne looks forward to learning metal soldering to expand her jewelry making and move on to other creative endeavours, like painting. you can find her products in the Kitty Witty Facebook shop and on her website.
