There was a determined, artistic girl who loved to bake, who loved pretty things that bring joy, who loved to share, and who loved things to be 'just so'.

And since everyday life isn't always 'just so', as a grown-up woman, that girl found ways to pull those loves together through baking and making. she's a master at the knitting and the jam and the pickles, but in the cookies, she found a path to perfection.  

That girl was Michele Dawe and she launched The Cookie Sheet ~ Cookies by Michele when she moved back home after almost 20 years away.  a creator at heart, she knit and baked to gift and share, but the response to her cookies created a demand for more!  people wanted the edible things of beauty that she was making to celebrate the special times of their lives - birthdays, graduations, showers, and other special times. so she hung out her sheet.
