In March of 2024, the Community Ideas Festival brought together a lively gathering of social innovators, change-makers, and visionaries!

As an innovative way of the saying thanks to the 30 people who spoke at the event, the Community Ideas Festival organzing committee chose to have a small forest planted in their honour.   

At a later date in 2024, thegreenrock ~ Live Sustainably NL, with support from the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, volunteers from the community and Junior Forest Wardens, and others will planted thirty seedlings.
