"Now you can get a cone," Emily Hunt, aka The Waffle Lady, said. "One scoop, two scoops but right on your waffle - that's where it started. Then when the pandemic hit my small business hard just like everyone else,I decided to expand and add more flavours.  Now you can have a waffle with ice cream or ice cream in a cone and... you can take home a tub."

We got the Inside Scoop, live with Emily before the St. John's Farmers' Market opened on Saturday June 18.  That's where you're find her and all the good things she creates - most Saturdays - and others times when there's a market humming.

Trade Secret:  Nothing weird here!  Emily says the trick to making amazing dishes and ice cream is good ingredients. She uses cream, whipped cream, coffee cream, sugar, vanilla, and quality flavouring.  Very simple and gorgeous. That is how she makes the perfect summer treat.
