Position:  Marketing Outreach Coordinator

Marketing Sustainability:  Growing Social and Green 

 

Opening: November 3, 2022 Closing:  November 18, 2022

Contract:  November 28, 2022 - August 4, 2023 

Duration: 35 weeks, 35 hours/week Wages:  $638 per week

This program is funded by Advanced Education and Skills (AES) through the Job Creation Partnership (JCP) Program. Applicants must be currently unemployed and: in receipt of EI now; have been in receipt of EI in the past three years; or have received maternity EI benefits in the past 5 years. The successful applicant must be approved by AES. 

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to organize and support our 2022-2023 project “Marketing Sustainability:  Growing Social and Green.

Working with the Marketing Sustainability teams, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to bring digital marketing to social- and green- oriented individuals, businesses and communities.  

The focus of this position is province-wide outreach and marketing to create a connected, collaborative foundation and supports for purveyors of social and green choices

The Marketing Outreach Co-ordinator brings to the Project

  • Strong organization skills
  • Approachable, People-Person Skills
  • Love of presenting
  • Aptitude in canva, mailchimp, streak and other applications 
  • Friendly, professional and motivated demeanour
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in, or capacity for training and facilitation
  • Expertise or interest in Digitalization
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A responsive and open approach
  • Valid drivers’ Licence
  • Ability to Travel out of town for several days at a time

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, marketing, and outreach of the Project.   

  • Using Google Workplace Suite, developing a Project plan (Asana Project Management Method)
  • Supporting team development and outreach
  • Contributing to a collaborative culture
  • Networking and relationship building
  • Cultivating curiosity and potential 
  • Using technology for communications
