GirlsRockNL presents Virtual GRNL ART JAMS

Our virtual jam sessions are a casual space where youth can get together virtually to write songs, drop in, listen to music, draw, share their artwork with one another, or spend time working on their creative projects alongside other youth. This is a casual space that does not have structured activities but is guided by GRNL facilitators.

  • GRNL Art Jams are open to girls and youth of other marginalized genders ages 8-18 years old.

  • Our art jams take place on Zoom! Registrants will be sent the link on the day of each jam.

  • Our art jams are free!

  • Facilitated by musicians, artists and mentors!

  • Girls Rock Camp is all about having fun, learning new things, building confidence and making new friends. We welcome youth from all backgrounds and life experience. We’re excited to learn more about you! If you’ve got any questions, we’re here for you. Send us an email at

We ask that campers help us create the fun, safe and welcoming environment of camp online. We also ask for your patience as we navigate tech.

  • You are not permitted to record the session, in part or in full.

  • You are not permitted to share external materials via the ‘share screen’ option or send files or images through the chat function.

  • Use the raise hand function if you would like to hop into conversation, or make a note in the chat.

  • Ensure your microphone is muted, except when you are speaking of course!

We are taking online safety very seriously. It is essential that you do not share any of the details of this event. All registrants will be given the zoom login information the morning of each event. The zoom event will be private, require pre-registration, and require attendees to be admitted from the waiting room after being verified on our registration list. Girls Rock NL organizers will be overseeing attendee participation, including setting clear guidelines and monitoring the chat.
