Guide to the Good is the result of collaboration of many!  We are a coming together of different types of people with different types of lives, united in a shared love of local and a common cause of building a strong, integrated, resiilent community.

With a Ph.D in Philosophy, Steve is the thinker. He enjoys everything local that NL offers, from craft beer to the great outdoors. He's passionate about the environment, and recognizes the essential role local plays in building sustainable communities.

Andrew advises local businesses on business strategy and digital transformation. When not actively studying towards his MBA, he can often be found spending time with his family or in the woods enjoying the beauty of our province.

Erin is an entrepreneur who loves to take part in community organizations. She studied English and Sociology at Memorial University, completed a Bachelor of Public Relations at Mount Saint Vincent University, and now practices her craft through agency Twine PR.

Ampy sees incredible potential for people in small business to build a stronger future for this province, especially newcomers. A Colombian Newfoundlander, Ampy is a specialist in training and quality control in food safety, and a volunteer with the Collective Interchange.

Maham loves order and bringing all the pieces together. When we first met her, she said "I love balance sheets and income statements." We were stunned at that, but it was entirely true. She's our Treasurer.

Amanda has a special love and insight with Guide to the Good. After serving as Finance and Admin Co-ordinator staff, she joined the governance team in 2024. In her work life, she's the Administrator for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

That work is reflected in her day job as Marketing & Engagement Lead for Memorial SHC Conference and Event Services.

The $120k Google Ad Words grant is tremendously helpful to thegreenrock in our efforts to inspire local, social and green action. we're happy to have Mike, a Google guy, on the back end checking the metrics and making the Google Ads fly.

Ryan greenrocked as the Marketing Sustainability Outreach Coordinator for much of 2023, and he's still keen to let local companies all over NL know about Guide to the Good. He's also a bit of a digital marketing wizard, and is part of the contract team, especially for our CDAP Grow Your Business Online work.
